DMC moves from the Meetup Platform

After a year trying out how well (or not) the Meetup platform was at attracting new members here, we have moved to this new website.

For the cost of $220 the first year we only got two new regular members out of a pool of 120 signed up members. A few others did show once to check us out. We realize we are not suitable for every hobby musician, but those numbers are not good value for our dollar, just 2!

When the yearly renewal pushed the price over $500 it was time to get a refund. And thankful I got most of it back. (not the exchange rate fees) As a small nonprofit hobby group that price was nuts, bonkers!

So now I am posting future monthly meetings on this site, our own domain, to bring in more members, in time, for at lot less $$.
